We are coming into the home stretch of 2013, so we thought we’d share some of our favorite church website designs that MonkDev has been a part of. Here are a few of the ones we love, in no particular order:

Eagle Brook Church

I had the privilege of flying to Eagle Brook to spend time with their leadership team as part of website planning. The purpose of my visit was to facilitate our Strategic Service process which helps to align the church’s mission/vision/values with a web strategy. The diligent planning and purposeful strategy is evident in this design. Eagle Brook navigates the multisite complexity by providing easy to find campus locations in the form of hover states on the home page. New visitors can quickly gain access to all the vital information they need to attend a service.

It’s this type of process/user focus that makes Eagle Brook a pleasure for people to use! Think about being a new person and see the thought they’ve put into making life easy for you.

Vineyard Columbus

Vineyard Columbus partnered with MonkDev to create not one, but two sites. We love the purposeful ministry movement strategy that includes an "I'm New" and "Next Steps" as the primary navigational items on the website's menu. This site has a great mega-menu yet remains very clean with an elegant design.

First Baptist Church of Jackson

I love how First Baptist Church of Jackson marries their traditional-ness with a beautiful timeless design!  First Baptist Church of Jackson had very specific goals. They wanted their new site to show the importance of Worship, provide Sunday school and service information, reach new people and young families, and to be a tool to get resources to their members.

Calvary Chapel San Diego

Need multi-lingual functionality on your website? Calvary Chapel San Diego, just minutes from the border with Mexico, has a large Spanish speaking population.  We love how easy it is for them to switch languages to best serve their diverse congregation all powered by Ekklesia 360.  Not to mention their are multi-site, this was a big endeavor that comes off looking simple for users to find what they need.

Elmbrook Church

Elmbrook is one of the churches that wanted to use their own design. While we have great designers in-house, we do have the option for organizations to "Bring-Your-Own-Design." Not all churches have the resources and capabilities to do this and pull off a great design by leveraging our many ministry layouts, but Elmbrook made it look easy!
